Claro to launch HSPA+ this week

Claro Paraguay, which is owned by Mexican mobile giant America Movil, is poised to introduce a HSPA+ network in the country, offering download speeds of up to 5Mbps. Last week sister company Claro Argentina launched its own HSPA+ network, whilst Claro Uruguay is also set to introduce HSPA+ connectivity later this month. Regarding the precise Paraguayan launch date, on Friday, Claro Paraguay CEO Pablo Lopez, said: ‘we still do not know the exact release date, but said it is very likely next week’
