Fiji cuts interconnection rates

The Fiji Times Online writes that on Monday, the Commerce Commission reduced interconnection rates in the country, which should translate to a reduction in local call rates. The commission has reportedly reduced the interconnection rates by 23.5% - from FJD0.17 (USD0.095) to FJD0.13 cents per minute. The new rate will come into effect on 17 November 2011
