Costa Rican state-owned telco ICE is set to launch an IPTV service under the name ‘Kolbi TV Digital’, according to IPTV News, citing a local news source. The new offering will be available in Escazu, Rohrmoser, Santa Ana, San Pedro and Tibas, with the basic package consisting of 85 channels and a video-on-demand (VOD) library of 6,000 titles, whilst a higher tier package includes seven HD channels. ICE currently offers broadband, wireless and fixed services; with the addition of IPTV the telco will now be able to offer quad-play services to its subscriber base.
