Vodafone Romania, the country’s second largest mobile network operator by subscribers, has reportedly announced the launch of a strategic outsourcing agreement with Chinese vendor Huawei. According to BusinessReview.ro, the five-year partnership deal will see Huawei take over the management of field operations for Vodafone Romania’s network, while under the agreement the Chinese company will also take responsibility for website maintenance and construction, as well as infrastructure activities. Some 70 Vodafone Romania staff will join Huawei as part of the partnership
