Japanese mobile broadband provider UQ Communications has announced reaching two milestones in its WiMAX-based operations. In the last week of February its total WiMAX subscribers reached two million, up by more than 300,000 since the start of the year, while it also reported that its WiMAX network coverage now exceeded 100 million of Japan’s population (close to 80%)
