The government of Antigua & Barbuda has announced its ‘Connect Antigua and Barbuda Biz’ initiative, which it hopes will drive internet take-up by the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Daily Observer newspaper reports that the programme is designed to help give 250 SMEs in Antigua & Barbuda a ‘permanent presence on the internet’, to help them to ‘competitively offer their products and services’, both at home and abroad.
