Japanese ICT company Fujitsu has announced the expansion of its UK subsidiary’s 100G high speed national fibre network, with the company noting that the infrastructure now includes an additional 2,500km of dark fibre. According to Fujitsu, the expansion will enable ‘true 100Gbps data across Managed Wavelength Service (MWS), ensuring Fujitsu customers receive a carrier-grade high capacity, low latency network solution to underpin the most demanding service, communication and high performance computing tasks’.
