New Zealand mobile operator 2degrees has notched up its millionth customer just three years after launching its network and breaking the long-held market duopoly dominated by Vodafone New Zealand and Telecom Mobile. Chief executive Eric Hertz announced the milestone, admitting that the company had grown a little faster than expected, and assessed that approximately 21% of New Zealand mobile users were now connected to 2degrees
