Macedonian cable operator Blizoo, which was formed through the amalgamation of regional players CableTEL and Eurocom, has announced plans to invest EUR3.5 million (USD4.8 million) next year to develop its networks. Skopje-based Blizoo, owned by Swedish private investment fund EQT, offers analogue/digital cable TV, broadband and telephony services in the country, and is currently implementing a network digitisation programme to broaden and improve its product offering
