Everything Everywhere has declared that it is ready to launch 4G services in the UK before the end of 2012, providing regulator Ofcom permits it to re-farm 2G spectrum. The cellco says that it is deploying HSPA+ during the next six months, and then hopes to deploy Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology in the 1800MHz band, depending on the outcome of a request it made in January to Ofcom seeking permission to do this
