Liberty Global’s Hungarian pay-TV, broadband and fixed voice subsidiary UPC Hungary, has been given the green light to acquire the country’s eighth largest cableco RubiCom, BroadbandTVNews reports. The smaller unit currently delivers TV, internet and telephony services to around 63,000 homes in 80 towns and villages.
