LIME claims ‘4G’ HSPA+ launch in BVI

LIME’s Virgin Islands (UK) general manager Sean Auguste has announced that the cellco’s long-awaited HSPA+ network has gone live, commenting: ‘This is not a test, 4G is here and LIME is proud to be the first company to offer this technology’. Despite branding its new data network ‘4G’, LIME’s infrastructure actually supports HSPA+ technology, which is capable of offering download speeds of 21.1Mbps
