T-Mobile’s Czech mobile subsidiary has extended the coverage of its 3.5G dual-carrier high speed packet access (DC-HSPA+) network to the city of Brno, offering connection speeds of up to 42Mbps via 191 transmitters from 1 September. Telecompaper writes that the cellco intends to continue expanding its coverage to meet ongoing capacity requirements. T-Mobile Czech Republic’s DC-HSPA+ footprint now includes Liberec, Ceske Budejovice, Mlada Boleslav, Zlin, Otrokovice and Prague (districts 4, 11 and 12), equivalent to 12% of the Czech population.
