Russian round-up: expansion for Yota, TTK, Rostelecom, ER-Telecom

Russian fixed network operator TTK has begun expanding its fibre-to-the-building (FTTB) broadband services in two regions (oblasts), Perm and Lipetsk. This week TTK revealed it is rolling out FTTB in the town of Yelets – with a population of around 110,000 – in the Lipetsk region, having previously launched FTTB in the (oblast capital) city of Lipetsk. Simultaneously, TTK has announced the beginning of an FTTB rollout in the city of Chusovaya in Perm oblast, initially spanning around 40 apartment blocks
