Digicel revenues rise 14% boosted by VAS and ‘4G’

Pan Caribbean operator Digicel Group has reported revenues of USD2.54 billion for the year ended 31 March 2012, up 14% year-on-year. The group recorded earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of USD1.08 billion, up 13% y-o-y, with an EBITDA margin of 45%. Revenues from value added services (VAS) were up 47% compared to a year earlier, and accounted for 20% of all service revenues.
